Naturally North Cornwall

A great holiday is made more memorable and rewarding by collecting information beforehand - that way you can be sure not to miss anything. There is a wealth of such information in North Cornwall, much of which is produced by the Heritage Coast and Countryside Service and which will help you explore and enjoy the superb natural, cultural and historical heritage in the area.

When you first arrive, look out for a copy of the free Coast Lines newspaper. It's packed with information on the natural history of the area, and it'll give you plenty of starting points for your investigations. And don't forget to call in at the Heritage Coast Visitor Centre in Boscastle, to pick up some ideas. There's an extensive programme of guided walks and events too - from Rockpool Rambles to Moths by Moonlight.

These include individual Circular Walk routes, Village Trails and Coast Path leaflets, as well as packs of Six Short Walks in selected areas. There is even a pack of Six Cycle Routes.

Our new Church Trail packs will introduce you to the fascinating architectural and historical treasures of churches in North Cornwall, while our Guide Packs will help you identify the seashore's wildlife; rocks, fossils and minerals; as well as birds, insects and wild flowers.

You'll find our publications listed on the 'Spotter Packs and Posters' page; send off now for whatever catches your eye and your holiday in North Cornwall will have already begun.
