Books: Two official coast path National Trail guides are available both at £7.95. Minehead-Padstow, Roland Tarr. Padstow-Falmouth, John Macadam. both are available from most book shops in the area as well as from the Heritage Coast Mobile Visitor Centre. Maps: Ordnance Survey Landranger 1:50,000 or 1 1/4" - 1 mile scale. These show roads, footpaths, car parks, viewpoints and a good deal of other useful information for the visitor. No 190 Bude-Clovelly, covers the coast from Bideford-Tintagel. No 200 Newquay and Bodmin, covers the coast from Tintagel to Newquay. Ordnance Survey Pathfinder 1:25,000 or 5/8"-1 mile scale. Excellent maps for following footpaths and detailed information on the landscape. Sheet SW87/97 Padstow and Wadebridge, shows the coast from Bedruthan Steps to Port Isaac. Sheet SX08/18, Camelford, shows the coast from Port Isaac to Boscastle. Sheet SX19, St Gennys, shows the coast from Boscastle to Widemouth Bay. Sheet SS20/30, Bude, shows the coast from Widemouth Bay to Duckpool. Sheet SS21/31, Kilkhampton, shows the coast from Duckpool to the Devon border. British Geological maps, 1:50,000 scale. Shows in detail the underlying rock types, fault lines, intrusions etc. Sheet 335/336, Trevose Head and Camelford. Sheet 322, Boscastle. Sheet 307/308 Bude.
